Happy New Year!

Happy New Year from the Outer Banks. We are down for a few days of friends and family. Great opportunity to shoot some pics. The fog rolled in and I believe I found the only spot of sunshine gleaming down on this Boathouse at the Whalehead Club.

Also, a great big Happy Birthday to my father who is 79 years young today. Pictured below with his beloved wife Pat and their many grandchildren. Have a great day Dad. We love you.

A Choo Choo Celebration

Friends and family gathered together to bid farewell to World War II vet and dedicated family man Charles D. Curley of Richmond, Virginia in December 2009.

Song "Just Breath" by Pearl Jam. One of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. Thanks Eddy V.

Saint Phil?

While attending the recent funeral of my Uncle Charles, I turned to capture this pose of my Uncle Phil (the brother of the deceased) and thought little of it at the time. It was only later, as I downloaded the image onto my computer, that I noticed my camera had somehow captured this majestic image, an aura perhaps, gracefully cradling my uncle. Seems a fitting image of Phil after all those long years looking out for his 5 sisters, wife, children, great grandchildren and countless nephews and nieces.

The Old Haunt ~ Kilroy's

Kilroy's in Springfield; an old favorite for many Thomas Jefferson High School Alumni. Saw many of my old buds there last night. Great fun.
